Asmakam is initiated by a family of lifelong learners, USA citizens who moved back to Bharat in 2014, living a sustainable and natural life and trying to practice zero outsourcing for education, food and health.
Leveraging diverse forms of wealth - time, nature, wisdom, community and cultural heritage, we are a learning space in nature where programs and retreats are offered to individuals and families who are keen to experience various aspects of ecological living, wellness, growing food and essential life skills.
Founded by IIT alumni in 2014, our journey's seeds are endless questions about how every action and milestone in our life is dictated by society's conditioned belief system and false definitions of growth, success and happiness. We envision to forge a path towards a more meaningful life that resonates with the demands of our times.

He leads the life skills vertical at Asmakam and is passionate about forest and water conservation. He loves working with youth across the globe to motivate their inner potential.

Professionally working as Project/Product Manager. As a self learner, her inner and outer learning journeys led her to question many things about the fast-paced and unsustainable lives we lead in today's capitalistic society. Being a young entrepreneur and building two social impact startups has instilled in-depth professional, technical, interpersonal, leadership and life skills.

Food Forests & Natural Farming
This father son duo is creating waves in creating food forests across India. They worked hard to transform their 10-acre farmland into a dense and thriving food forest through natural farming growing 40 varieties of fruits, vegetables, medicinal plants and inspiring many farmers to transition from chemical based farming into a beautiful, sustainable profitable food forests. Abhay is an energetic youth with fierce desire to change the direction of farming in India.

Bringing people back to nature and oneself
A technology evangelist and ex CTO Rahul, started his inner energy and found solace in his ancestor's cashew farm in Bihar. Seeking spirituality and natural living manifested into Urveera co-founded with Sarthak, a young yoga and permaculture enthusiast. Their focus is on Permaculture and natural farming, natural building, creating native seed bank and overall well being.

Living in sync with Nature
Sakshi and Arpit, an IITian couple who has madly fallen in love with nature. After touring the world with a backpack they moved to a small town in MP and practice an alternate way of living, which is in sync with nature. Their life is natural farming centric, where they grow their own food. They are also very passionate about reforestation, yoga and naturopathy.
